1. Agreement
These General Terms govern access to the Focus Base website and registration for educational programs operated from South Korea. By using the site or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms and to receive operational notices related to your requests.
2. Services Described
Focus Base provides instructor-led and hybrid training in embedded systems engineering, including lab access where expressly stated. Descriptions on this site are informational and may be updated to reflect curriculum adjustments, tooling changes, or venue constraints.
3. Eligibility and Conduct
Participants must follow lab safety instructions, respect equipment sharing policies, and refrain from interfering with other learners’ work. We may remove individuals from sessions where conduct risks injury, property damage, or sustained disruption.
4. Intellectual Property
Course materials, diagrams, and templates remain Focus Base property unless a separate written license states otherwise. You may retain notes and original code you author during labs, excluding proprietary starter kits or third-party licensed assets distributed under their own terms.
5. Liability Limits
To the extent permitted under Republic of Korea law, Focus Base is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or consequential damages arising from site use or training participation. Bench work involves powered equipment; participants assume ordinary risks mitigated by posted procedures.
6. Governing Law and Venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Courts located in Korea shall have jurisdiction over disputes, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you.
7. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us with a concise written summary and allow a good-faith review period of at least fifteen business days. Where mediation is elected, each party bears its own costs unless otherwise required by law.
8. Termination and Changes
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or for security incidents. We may update these terms with a revised “Last updated” date; continued use after posting constitutes acceptance of non-material changes. Material changes affecting pricing or refunds will be highlighted on the site or communicated where contact details exist.
